We’re planning on moving from SonarQube to DeepSource. Does Azure DevOps Services setup really need organization owner to be able to install DeepSource? What happens if organization owner changes, what needs to be done so that DeepSource keeps working?
Does Azure DevOps Services setup really need organization owner to be able to install DeepSource?
That’s correct. Once signed up with the ‘Owner’ permissions, you can have multiple users with ‘Administrator’ permissions in DeepSource who will have complete access to the DeepSource platform.
What happens if organization owner changes, what needs to be done so that DeepSource keeps working?
Since this event is generally infrequent, you can ask the new ‘Azure DevOps org Owner’ to sign-up for a Free account on DeepSource and open a ticket at app.deepsource.com/support with the e-mail address of the new Owner, and we’ll be able to flip this from our end.
Thanks for the answer, it’s a bit unfortunate that organization owner is getting all those pull request mails. Is it possible to get trial license for DeepSource cloud?
