Failed to clone repository

Hi, I just configured my first repo in DeepSource and linked it to my private GitLab group. I received the error message in the History tab “Failed to clone repository. Read the docs to know why this happened and how to fix it.”

When I checked the docs, it said to make sure submodule is enabled and the repo branch name matches the default branch name set in DeepSource.

Where else can I check to make the scanning work?

Hi, @zack.

Does your repository have any submodules or external private dependencies? If so, you will need to configure SSH access in your repository’s settings on DeepSource.

If this is not the case, can you write us an email to support@deepsource.io mentioning your GitLab group name and the concerned repository so we can debug from our end?
