I recently saw David Plummer using ChatGPT for creating code, so I decided to look at ChatGPT and had it perform a code review. It made some really good suggestions that I cannot get from DeepSource, but would like to see as a option in DeepSource. (Actually my interaction with ChatGPT led me to DeepSource.)
I recommend that DeepSource look at some of the OpenAI APIs available and see if it is possible to create a code review function that can make suggestions from AI on one’s code.
Just a thought. Perhaps even an additional function to have other developers review your code. It would help developers, like myself, who seem to be the lone developer, dba, and sysadmin most of the time.
